As the point of contact for all clients at a healthcare start-up, I used my creative systems-building skills to create and manage the post-sales process from onboarding to customer exit interviews and surveys. This involved creating educational flyers, email templates, process automation in HubSpot, and more to grow $1 million in ARR to $4 million in less than 2 years. My role also involved supporting the sales team through the development of effective marketing material such as a new sales sheet that included updated positioning. Overall, these efforts led to customer NPS scores of 42 and CSAT scores of 70, reflecting the strong customer value I was able to create through my role.

I was instrumental as one of the initial employees at a seed round tech startup, contributing to securing a remarkable $10 million series A raise and overseeing the growth of our team to over 100 members in just 2 years. Through collaboration across sales, engineering, product, and operations, I optimized processes and trained colleagues to deliver an enhanced customer journey. As the intern of two departments, Fund Reporting and Compliance, my time at Portland Investment Council allowed me to develop my time-management, detail-oriented and communication skills. My major accomplishments included creating a semi-automated process of performing monthly accounting recolitation using a new report I had setup using simple macros in Excel.

As an ambitious, aspiring entrepreneur studying business, McMaster University provided me the opportunity to start and co-found various intiatives. These initiatives ranged from starting a new club that inpsired students to pursue meaningful, and principle based careers to speaking to my first customers as a co-founder of an e-commerce based start-up, to launching a small YouTube channel and picking up filmmaking. At the same time, I was able to juggle these intiatives with my studies, graudating with a 3.96/4.00 GPA.
